It’s been a busy few weeks in the Sell Cell offices, since the release of the iPhone 5 earlier this month. With more of the nation now owning an iPhone 5 the more people are looking at how they can fix a few problems that have been annoying them. So we will show you how you can merge your Facebook contacts on your iPhone 5, to better organize your address book.
We have already seen over 100 million people worldwide upgrade from iOS 5 to iOS 6 and I can only expect this number to rise over the next weeks, or months perhaps.
Anyway, back to the issue at hand…
There is a slight issue with duplicate contacts being created. So for example you may have your wife or husband listed twice in your phones address back (one as a manual entry, the other pulling in from Facebook) but this can be easily rectified.
How To Do It
First you will need to find the Contacts app which can be easily accessed by pressing the phone icon which is located on the home screen.
You will now see all your contacts, so the aim now is to select one of the duplicate contacts, press the Edit option in the top right of the profile page for that person. Still with me?
The next step you will see a Link Contact option, click that option which will allow you to combine the duplicate entry so you are left with one entry.
