Last week we managed to get some coverage on the AARP site, after we conducted a survey that showed Americans are sitting on a total of $34 billion worth of old or unused cell phones. What is more staggering is that 25 percent of that $34 billion is made up of old Apple iPhone’s.
This is an extract taken from our Managing Director’s comment to AARP:
“Some of the phones we’re harboring may be damaged beyond repair; nevertheless, they still hold value. According to the survey of 2,000 people, nearly one in five say they’re just “too lazy” to sell their old devices. The survey also found that most of our unwanted electronics were less than 3 years old.”
